What souvenir packages are

Souvenir packages are released at every CS2 Major. Each one belongs to a single map from that event, such as the Mirage or Inferno package, and contains skins from that map’s collection. What makes them special is the stickers: every skin from a souvenir package comes with stickers from the match it dropped in, usually the logos of both teams and of the event.

They’re called souvenirs because they’re a keepsake of a specific match. A skin with the stickers of a famous final can be worth much more than the same skin from an ordinary match.

How you get them

Souvenir packages drop to viewers while Major matches are being played, and they can also be bought on the Steam Community Market. Unlike weapon cases, they open without a key: you only pay for the package.

What’s inside

A souvenir package contains the skins of one collection, which often span six rarities, from Consumer Grade (white-grey) up to Covert (red). There are no knives or gloves and no StatTrak™ versions; the souvenir stickers take the place of StatTrak™.

Each page here lists every skin in the package, its rarity, its float range and today’s price for each wear.

Odds

Valve hasn’t published odds for souvenir packages. The simulator uses the common estimate that each rarity is about five times rarer than the one below. For a package with all six rarities, that gives roughly 80% Consumer Grade, 16% Industrial Grade, 3.2% Mil-Spec, 0.64% Restricted, 0.13% Classified and 0.03% Covert. This is an estimate, and every package page labels it as one.

Why some packages are worth so much

The price of a souvenir package depends on three things:

  • The collection. Some map collections contain famous skins, like the souvenir AWP Dragon Lore from older Cobblestone packages, which make every package a lottery ticket.
  • The event. Packages from early Majors are scarce today and often far more expensive than recent ones.
  • The match. For individual skins, the stickers matter. Finals, famous teams and big plays all add value.

Using the simulator

Pick a package, open it with play money and see which souvenir skin you get, its wear and its value at today’s prices. Every opening goes into your inventory, which is saved in your browser, so you can track whether a package would have paid off.

If you’re interested in the tournaments themselves, look at the autograph capsules and sticker capsules from the same events.
