Overview

HypeDrop is one of the longest-running mystery box sites. It launched in 2019, was started by one of the founders of CSGORoll, and relaunched in 2024. Its boxes hold real items such as sneakers, phones, consoles and luxury goods, and it has over 1,600 Trustpilot reviews, most of them five stars.

Games

Next to classic box opening there are box battles against other players, an upgrader and, since 2026, a “Black Market” mode. Results are provably fair: each box shows a server seed hash, and the system has been audited.

Bonuses & rewards

New players get 3 free boxes with a referral code. The main ongoing reward is the daily race with a $19,000 prize pool. There’s no rakeback.

Payments

You can deposit with card, PayPal, Klarna, Skrill, Neteller or crypto such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT and USDC. Winnings are cashed out in crypto (13 coins), usually within about 15 minutes, though it can take longer at busy times.

Safety & licensing

HypeDrop is run by EyE Plutonomy Limited from Belize and lists no gambling licence. ID checks (KYC) apply above a withdrawal limit. It’s blocked in Belgium and restricted in the Netherlands, and it has an ongoing dispute with the Danish regulator over its free daily boxes.
